Xinyi completed her Bachelor of Law in China in 2019. Driven by a desire to deepen her understanding of the common law system, she pursued further studies at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), enrolling in the Juris Doctor program in 2021.
Xinyi first entered the migration field in 2022 during her Practical Legal Training(PLT) internship at LMP Immigration. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for the migration sector, drawn to its challenges and complexities. Xinyi’s aspiration to expand her expertise in this field continues to drive her career forward.
Outside of work, Xinyi enjoys a wide range of activities. She likes playing Nintendo Switch and PC games, as well as reading novels, Japanese manga, and watching animations. She also values time spent outdoors, relishing the sunshine, beaches, and scenic views with friends. Recently, she has taken up crocheting, which helps her relax and reflect.
Xinyi is fluent in both Mandarin and English.
Xinyi is motivated by the opportunity to guide people through their pathways to obtaining permanent residency. Although the process is often challenging, the sense of fulfillment that comes with helping clients achieve their goals is what drives her passion for her work.
