Winona Rose Yabut graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Management and Entrepreneurship. She initially chose this course as a cost-effective alternative to Culinary Arts or Hotel and Restaurant Management. Post-college, Winona began a Juris Doctor graduate course but had to discontinue her studies after a year due to financial constraints.
During her brief tenure in law school, Winona worked part-time as an Admin Assistant and Legal Secretary. She then joined a real estate company as a Sales and Marketing Staff, where she unexpectedly assumed the role of acting Sales and Marketing Head. Her significant contributions included organising an open house event and developing a lot partition and profit-sharing document for a new subdivision, which she presented to the Board of Directors. After resigning due to overwork and compensation issues, Winona transitioned to a BPO company, where she worked for nearly four years. As one of the pioneer employees, she played a key role in establishing workflows and processes. She is currently employed at Maison Chen Law Group, where she continues to apply her extensive skills and experience.
Winona is an introvert who enjoys spending time at home. Her leisure activities include watching Korean dramas, following her favourite K-pop group, cooking, playing with her dogs, and engaging in various creative pursuits such as crocheting and creating vector art. She also finds relaxation in reading manga and novels.
Winona is driven by a desire to make a positive impact and enhance her self-esteem through accomplishments. She finds great satisfaction in helping others and contributing meaningfully to her workplace and community. This sense of achievement not only boosts her confidence but also reaffirms her self-worth.
