Omy Ann Santos graduated from Holy Angel University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Human Resource Development Management. Her academic focus was on optimising human capital and fostering employee development, driven by her interest in understanding effective human resource management. Omy Ann is also planning to pursue a master's in Public Administration to further expand her knowledge in administrative reforms and effective governance.
Omy Ann began her career as a Human Resources Generalist at GLCSynergy Solutions. Following the closure of this company, she worked as a human resource Officer at Aviation Hub Asia, handling HR duties across various branches in the Philippines. The onset of the pandemic led to a job loss, prompting her to shift her career path. She then joined Shore360 as a Mortgage Admin Assistant, followed by roles as Human Resource Assistant and General Admin Associate at Arete Care & Priority Care Professionals. This transition allowed her to explore new fields while leveraging her HR expertise.
In her free time, Omy Ann assists with her family business and delves into reading law books, including texts on the Labor Code, Obligations and Contracts and The Law on Partnership and Corporation. She regards these activities as relaxing and a way to maintain her professional knowledge and skills.
Omy Ann is motivated by the opportunity to make a significant impact through her roles in Human Resources and Legal Assistance. She is passionate about advocating for fairness, equality, and social justice, ensuring that individuals receive fair treatment and that their rights are protected.
