Manie Li holds a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University, where she majored in Chinese Studies. Her academic focus allowed her to deeply explore the language, culture, and historical contexts of Chinese-speaking regions, enriching her understanding of global cultural dynamics.
Manie’s career began in retail and customer service, where she developed strong interpersonal skills. During her university years, she engaged in internships in legal administrative roles and volunteered as a Business Development Officer at AIESEC, facilitating leadership and developmental opportunities globally. Post-university, Manie worked as a Table Games Dealer at Crown Casino, thriving in a high-pressure, dynamic environment. Following a stand-down period due to COVID-19, she joined Maison Chen Law Group as a receptionist and quickly advanced to an Administrative Executive role. Her work now focuses on supporting the migration process, drawing on her appreciation for multiculturalism and her personal background.
Manie enjoys journaling and creative writing, which allow her personal expression and reflection. She is also an avid video gamer and music enthusiast, often exploring new tunes or rewatching favourite shows, providing comfort and familiarity in her leisure time.
