Educational Background

Janice graduated with a Bachelor of Law (Honours) from the UK and completed additional units at Monash University in Melbourne to meet the requirements for an Australian law degree. She then undertook a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, enabling her to be admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria as an Australian lawyer. Her academic journey spans Australia, the United Kingdom, and Malaysia, providing her with a broad and diverse educational foundation.

Professional Experience

Janice has extensive experience in general skilled migration, employer sponsorship visas, and partner visas. Her career began as an intern at a migration agency while studying at Monash and completing her Graduate Diploma. After four years, she became an Immigration Lawyer, managing her own clientele. Janice has worked with many employers sponsoring candidates through 482 (Temporary Skill Shortage) visas and 186 (Employer Nomination Scheme) visas. She is also gaining experience in Labour Agreements, particularly the new Aged Care Labour Agreement pathway.

Hobbies

Outside of work, Janice enjoys modelling, especially for small businesses needing extra support. She is also a content creator, focusing on mental health awareness, gender inequality and simplifying migration law requirements. Her favourite hobby is hitting the gym, where she finds mental health benefits through weightlifting. Janice also enjoys attending women empowerment events, reading, exploring new cafes, taking her dog on adventures, and binge-watching TV shows with strong female leads.
